Yay for Christmas! We recently added a second bird ornament to our tree (since this will be our second Christmas as a married couple) and Jeff affectionately named him "Al the Owl." I think he looks good next to our peacock we got last year :)We also bought cheap felt stockings and puff paint last year but never decorated them, so earlier this month we finally got around to it. I think my reindeer turned out pretty darn good.
This week my family all decorated gingerbread houses, it's definitely my favorite Christmas tradition. Mom let Me, Meg, and Mich make the gingerbread the night before, but with our little baking experience most of the pieces had to be glued back together with frosting the next day. Who knew gingerbread was so tricky? (Or that we're so bad at baking?)(Well...that's not really a surprise...) With Tyler gone it was relatively uneventful, no decapitated santas and red sprinkles this year, darn.
