Cold Turkey

I deactivated my facebook account. I figured I've had plenty of practice procrastinating and not enough practice with molarity, electrochemistry, Hooke's Law and all the other stuff I should know in 12 days time (gulp!).

Remove yourself from the temptation, right? Hopefully this works and I quit procrastinating...

bold move my friend, but probably smart in the long run. Just think--in a few weeks you might be asking yourself nonstop if you could have studied something a little bit more. Keep up the good work! You're going to rock it! Call me if you want a quiz or something ;)

I commend you. But I have a question? Is deleting the same thing as deactivating. So can you "reactivate" your account? I hate Facebook. They make it so there is always a way to suck you back into the void of social time-waisting network. I hate it.

haha, yes megan, it's actually just deactivating it. So if I want back in all I have to do is sign in like I always do and it pulls it all back up.

But how shameful would that be?! The act of me deactivating gives me the will to stay away, at least for the next couple weeks.

But yes, after I deactivated it I realized it's just as easy for me to get on as before, but I have too much pride to let myself ;)

haha ok. So really, since to "reactivate" you say you just sign back in and fix it, you could have just not signed on for a few weeks... that's funny. I guess you just had to trick your mind by officially "deactivating" it.
